In September 2025, The Grammar Schools in Birmingham (TGSB) conducted one of the region’s most rigorous and competitive 11+ entrance exams, with an impressive 5,025 students participating. This year’s exam once again showcased the determination and academic talent of children across the West Midlands.
With the October 2025 results now released, 2,154 students achieved a score of 205 or above, reflecting the incredibly high calibre of candidates. The top scorers—a boy achieving 280 and a girl securing fourth place with 272—exemplify the remarkable academic excellence seen this year.
